Michael Brooksbank
Michael Brooksbank, an Independent Financial Advisor from Ilkley had a garage full of filing cabinets holding 20 years worth of client files. He was concerned about the condition of them being stored in a cold, damp atmosphere. Also the security aspect was worrying as he is required to keep them for all time and the garage wasn’t entirely secure. He wanted to be able to access them on his computer through an existing software package that would accept PDF images.
Scanners GB collected the files, prepared and scanned them into a PDF format ensuring image quality was very high and that all information was captured. This was done by scanning double sided and the blank pages removed. The whole job took less than a month and with an average cost of around £5 per file Michael was very pleased with the outcome.
