Cadmans Solicitors
Cadmans Solicitors of Cleckheaton and Bradford in West Yorkshire were looking for an efficient and cost effective solution to their storage and retrieval problems. They were amassing client files month on month and needed a system which would be flexible enough to work for them ie a combination of Solicitors and Estate Agents. Scanners GB approach was to suggest Zyimage as being ideal for them. It satisfies both security and ease of use requirements as Cadmans offices are busy places.
The software package chosen was Zylab’s Information Access Platform based on a webserver. This type of installation meant that user’s required only the bare minimum of training and the workstations were not taken over for any length of time, interrupting work. In fact Scanners GB integrated the package into Cadmans front office program which enabled staff to retrieve scanned files directly from the screen they were used to working with on a day to day basis. Scanners GB collect the closed files each month and prepare and scan them. The data is then returned on DVD to upload onto Cadmans system. An audit trail is in place to ensure that files don’t go missing or can be returned at a moment’s notice should one be required by a solicitor prior to it being scanned.
